Casa semintelor is a community seed bank through which we save, preserve and multiply old, traditional and rare Romanian seeds. The bank was born as a project initiated by the NGO - Association Romania in Transition, with the mentorship and support of Noah's Ark, the International Seed Savers Association, based in Austria. What is the vision? A large and diverse collection of seeds of old, traditional and rare varieties from Romania, safely preserved and multiplied for the long-term benefit of the seed saving community and future generations. The Green Mogo Energy Training and Advisory Center, or the Green Mogo Center, is a space created by the Green initiative, dedicated to the dialogue about green buildings and the solutions available to everyone to choose a low environmental impact lifestyle. We chose to turn the experience of constructing a green building into a learning experience for hundreds of students, pupils, people from our community and other categories of people who participated in workshops during the work because we believe that such a building can be an excellent teaching tool to facilitate the transmission of complex information. Statia is an association of a group of artists, curators, theorists, economists and others, who, together with tranzit.ro, from 2021, co-own and co-plan a piece of land in the village of Siliștea Snagovului, 30 km north of Bucharest, near a protected natural area (forest and lake). Inscribed in a long-term perspective and through an open and participatory process of construction and contextualization, the Station aims to become: * a center for contemporary art and research : * a center for nature studies ; * a resource center and residencies ; * a prototype cultural institution anchored in a locality it shares with its community, situated in a post-development narrative and based on ecological and ethical principles. source source source Text Source Tranzit

TERRRA is a trans-local hub for exploring new ways of living, new alliances with nature, better balances between production and consumption. Located in the Carpathian Mountains, in Brezoi, Romania, the project proposes a space to value traditional knowledge, in a dialogue with recent technological and environmental advances. TERRRA is also a network of activists who act at the intersection of ecology, architecture, artistic practices, pedagogy and research, through a multitude of practices and projects at different scales. TERRRA will host a branch of the School of Planetary Gardeners, a "disseminated educational project" initiated by Gilles Clément in different parts of the world. Its location will be used as "didactic" material for teaching traditional and contemporary practices of restoring living landscapes (and the living). Source text: Terrra Source images: Terrra
