Low Tech Lab Low-tech thinking allows us to live better with less. We are convinced of this. And if it were more widely known, accepted and adapted, it would allow us to fight effectively against the environmental, social and societal ills of the 21st century. Since 2013, we have observed that many low-tech answers already exist just about everywhere and that individual and/or collective initiatives are emerging spontaneously in the four corners of the world. click here for text source photo: Low Tech lab Premier atelier low-tech “fabrication de frigos du désert” avec les migrants du camp de Pikpa, Lesbos — © Février 2018, Low-tech Lab Low-tech kesako — © 2018, Low-tech Lab

TERRRA is a trans-local hub for exploring new ways of living, new alliances with nature, better balances between production and consumption. Located in the Carpathian Mountains, in Brezoi, Romania, the project proposes a space to value traditional knowledge, in a dialogue with recent technological and environmental advances. TERRRA is also a network of activists who act at the intersection of ecology, architecture, artistic practices, pedagogy and research, through a multitude of practices and projects at different scales. TERRRA will host a branch of the School of Planetary Gardeners, a "disseminated educational project" initiated by Gilles Clément in different parts of the world. Its location will be used as "didactic" material for teaching traditional and contemporary practices of restoring living landscapes (and the living). Source text: Terrra Source images: Terrra
